Note. DMV. I think Isaac Clark Maltby left Kansas and went to Port Huron, Mich. About 1916(?) I had a letter (in reply to mine) from Port Huron, written for an old gentleman, about 80, as I recall it. It gave little in the way of records but stated he had seen the coat-of-arms which was burned when his uncle Jacob's house caught fire. He said it had "three cows on it"--possibly heads of cows. There are a large number of coats-of-arms blazoning cows--Metcalf is one I recall, though there is quite a long list. Possibly he has been confused with his uncle Isaac, b. 1801, who was of Port Huron.
